Q1 2026 Reset

Hey Family! It has truly been a while since I posted and I have a valid reason for being radio silent. What was supposed to be a relaxing start to the new year after taking a couple weeks off during the holiday season turned out to be non stop. I was juggling a demanding work schedule and being present for my daughter, Chloe, who had a lot going on with her health and school. That said, I am grateful that we made it to see another day and a new season as we spring forward. I am looking forward to the longer days and fingers cross the warmer weather. As I reflect on the first quarter of 2026, I am finally realising that there is never a perfect time to wait for the opportunity to fulfill your life tasks and mission. During the chaos, I was asking myself what is my North Star? How much of my time is being spent on the things that give me joy? More importantly, how I am taking care of my mental and physical well-being? While I still do not have all the answers, I am realising that every day that I wake up I am given an opportunity to take a step forward. So here I am putting myself out there and manifesting what I want for my life. As an insecure type A personality, I am finally accepting that it is okay to be afraid of failure but it is also important to not be paralysed with fear to the point that you do not do anything. It is also important to remember that things do not happen overnight. I will share with you over the next few weeks what I have been working on behind the scenes and some of the strategies that have helped me with my mindset and the confidence to dream big, to pat yourself on your back, and to keep on pushing. As we start a new quarter of the year, let us be grateful and be courageous for what lies ahead. I am fully aware of the geopolitical environment and the increased anxiety of the wider economy, but this is the time for us to embrace our community and to cherish the present and do our best to show up. So, if you catch me slipping, you have my full permission to call me out. Accountability and constructive feedback are gifts that I receive with open arms.

I make a living working in the City of London in banking. For fun I love to read, run, visit spas, and spend time with my family and friends. I believe that each of us holds power in our words and can be whatever we want to be so long as we make the commitment to work on it. I love to tell and share stories.
