I am truly honoured and humbled to have been shortlisted for the 2025 Women in Banking and Finance - UK Inclusive Leader Award. This is my second year in a row to have been included in the shortlist for this award. As someone who has consistently advocated for inclusion and opportunity for all, it is a great feeling when it is recognised externally. My motivation is simple. I want everyone to have the opportunity to succeed. It is important that leaders and companies continue to foster a culture and environment that normalize differences and find ways to support team members so that they can operate in high performing teams. I am grateful for the several people who nominated me and provided their written testimonies. Special shout out to my Wells Fargo colleagues who are shortlisted in the Inclusive Leader, Emerging Leader, and Achievement Awards. I look forward to meeting the other finalists at the finalists reception this evening. While we have made many strides in the banking and finance industry, there is still more work to do. So cheers to the moment and our accomplishments but let us not forget that we are just getting started.
